![]() ![]() Because the AM plays & sounds so good I wonder if the antenna on the rear side has something to do with that problem or maybe a tube itself is weak I do not know. The electric cord is in great condition & ready to plugin & play however (& t is always a however in life) the radio plays & sound excellent with great tone & loud & clear with no hum on the AM side now the FM side I can not pickup anything at all. The chassis is a 4-knob unit 1 is for ON/OFF/VOLUME 2 is for TONE 3 is for AM/FM/PHONO & 4 is for TUNING & all 4-knobs look good & work good. ![]() The chassis is a 9-tube unit & I believe all 9-fire up including the dial lights & by the way when the dial is light in the dark it is prety errie looking. Now about the working condition & chassis of this fine table radio. The back is present & in fair to good condition but after taking the back off the is a antenna mounted on a board that I do not think it is right antenna but it does work. The front side of this radio is in great condition including the dial-dial face & the gold trim that out lines the dial & comes to a point on each side. The cabinet is in very good condition with no cracks or chips & it has a nice sheen or luster. The cabinet on this table RCA is called the (woodland) & it is made out of dark brown bakelite or a thick plastic. The model number of this radio is 3-RF91 & it was made in 1952 I believe. ![]() We start with a vintage RCA VICTOR tube brown bakelite AM/FM radio in very nice looking & working condition. ![]()
